| The Hurricane™ 2300 utilizes the same efficient, reliable mechanism as the Tornado™ with a beefed-up stainless steel spring for greater tension. Add 20' of 8000lb Technora® line and you have a system that should put the leariest of boaters at ease. Technora® line is manufactured by global fiber leader Teijin. It is 3 times as strong as steel and 8 times as strong as fiberglass, polyester and nylon of the same weight. It also has great resistance to corrosion, abrasion, heat, chemicals and seawater.

Fishermen, you are going to love using Hurricane™ 2300 as your dedicated drift anchor line. First, cut off the extension line you tied to your drift anchor, you won’t need it anymore. Attach a stainless climbers hook directly to your drift anchor. Now when you're ready to deploy, just clip it on any of the Hurricane™ LazerLoops™ and throw it over board. Use them in tandem to position your boat at any angle. Consider the number of options. When you retrieve the anchor, all the lines will retreat back into their housing out of your way and off of your deck. Getting line caught in your propeller is a thing of the past.
